That's all part of a plan by CBS Radio to have two 24-hour sports channels -- one a full simulcast of KFMB and the other one to be a separate station but ultimately going under the same branding. "It's our way to be able to compete against the big boys, which is ESPN, Fox Sports, whatever," KFMB general manager Tom Haywood said. "We feel we can be competitive in terms of programming and live." Harrison is glad to see that he'll still be getting his 15 minutes of fame, even if that means parting ways with the station. "If I was a local disc jockey, I would have loved this for a long time, because I get to talk sports now. It's rare you can move something into one of the big market radio stations and stick around for more than a few days. I think it's great. I don't care who you are, you're not going to be bigger than the station that you work for." While he's pleased to get to be a part of the new station, he's not sure that's necessarily a good thing. "If I look at them, they got the nose out of their face and look like they got a little extra nose up in the air." He said it's easy to be critical of the overall station. "There's people around here that are just haters. Just listen to the radio and you'll hear it." A former football player and director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Harrison said
